"Earth Diaries" Exhibition in Mestre

The exhibition with the 30 finalists of "Earth Diaries" will be open also in Mestre, in the Torre Civica. The vernissage will be on the 20th February 2010 at 11.00 and it will be presented by Walter Signora, Veneto Region Manager.
The exhibition will remain open until the 7th March 2010 in the following hours: on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 15 to 19, instead on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 -13 and 15 -19 at Torre Civica, Piazza Ferretto, Mestre -Venezia Map >>>

“Earth diaries” at fieragricola fair

After the exhibition in Venice, the next appointment with “Earth Diaries is in the Fieragricola fair, from the 4th to the 17th February in Verona. The exhibition organized by the Veneto Region opens again to the public during this fair event dedicated to agriculture: the finalists' artworks will be the mail attraction of the Agriculture and Tourism Politics Department stand. Everyone could appreciate the thirty shots dedicated to the Veneto territory and rural developement in the stand E8, hall 2. More info on www.fieragricola.it.

Exhibition of the 1 st International Prize of Photography “Earth Diaries” for the valorisation of the rural developement of Veneto
The inauguration of the exhibition will be on Friday the 8th of January 2010, at 11.00 am in the Palazzo Correr, Romanian Institure of Culture and Humanistic Research Campo Santa Fosca (Strada Nuova) Cannareggio 2214, Venice.
During the event, the President of the Jury Igor Zanti will proceed with the award ceremony in the presence of the Region's Vice-President and Alderman for the Agriculture and Tourism Policies for the Veneto Region, Dott. Franco Manzato.
The exhibition will run from 8 to 24 January 2010 every day from 10.30 to 18.30. Closed on Mondays. Map >>>

The winners, finalists and mentions of the 1st International Prize of Photography “Earth Diaries” will be announced during the inauguration of the collective exhibition that will be held on Friday, the 8th of January 2010, at Palazzo Correr (Santa Fosca, Strada Nova) in Venice at 1.00 am, in the presence of the Vice-President and Councillor for Agriculture and Tourism Policies of the Veneto Region, dr. "Earth Diaries ": the competition begins

To Represent and enhance the rural heritage of Veneto. This is the first mission of the 1st International Prize “Diari della Terra” for Photography presented Monday 3rd Agust by the Vice-President of Veneto Region, Franco Manzato. This is a fresh initiative for the related sector in the whole communication strategy for the Rural Development Program for Veneto 2007-2013 . Applications

You can apply for the Prize on-line through the official website of www.diaridellaterra.it or by mail sending the photos to the Prize Office. The competition is open to everyone for free and is not necessary be a professional photographer. You can submit up to five photo proposals before the deadline the 15th November. The jury will make a pre-selection phase for choosing the best thirty works, from which they will decide the official winners. Selected jury

"Earth Diaries" Prize presents a selected jury of professionals in the fields of photography, art, communication and rural planning. A member is Cucchetto Angelo the head manager of the most important editorial photography portal in Italy photographers.it. Another juror is Igor Zanti an art critic and President of the Jury for the Premio Internazionale Arte Laguna. Moreover working in the photography field there is the juror Tomesani Roberto, professor of photography at the European Institute of Design IED and founder and coordinator of the Professional Photographers National Association - TAU Visual.
